Just a short 20 minute walk over the dunes from Atlantic Coast, there is access to our beautiful 3 miles of golden sands with stunning views across St Ives Bay. The clear blue ocean is breathtaking, the surf is amazing and you can guarantee you will be entertained watching the surfers and kite surfers in the sea.
The most local village to Atlantic Coast is Gwithian, the small village public house - The Red River Inn offers a great food menu, booking in advance is advised during the busy season but if you fancy a tasty meal and refreshing drink after a long walk, the Red River is highly recommended and it is Dog Friendly too!
And talking of food, this picture is of a 'small' Pasty from a quaint little cafe at the Lizard - Polpear Cafe. There is nothing better than sitting outside in the sunshine eating a gorgeous meal, looking out over the Lizard Peninsula - this is most definitely a place to visit when staying at Atlantic Coast......
If you don't want to venture far whilst holidaying with Atlantic Coast, there is plenty to see and do in Hayle. The 2 miles of Hayle has a variety of shops, cafes and pubs along the Hayle estuary. King George's Walk has a quiet walkway set off the road where lots of birds and wildlife can be seen. The flowers and small gardens are stunning too! This photo is Millpond which is behind Foundry Square - there are 3 Terrapins that frequently pop up to say 'hello' and again the wildlife is incredible here!
