On Sunday 13th March, Atlantic Coast hosted a Cream Tea event to help raise funds for Little Harbour Children's Hospice.
With the support and help of Children's Hospice South West volunteer Mary Trevarthen, Alex Rooney - Holiday Park Assistant and Hayle Town Councillor Wilkins, we successfully raised £172 for the charity.
Very tasty plain and cheese scones were made and donated free of charge by a good friend Sarah Thomas and her Mother - Sue. Clotted cream was provided by a local dairy - Trewithan Dairy who also supply the shop at Atlantic coast. Generous donations of cash from Caravan Owners, Holiday guests and visitors from the local community and adjoining holiday park were given with lots of good feedback.
The sun was shining, the atmosphere was happy and friendly and it was a good opportunity for staff, owners and guests to get to know each other. Good use was made of the new games/information room and also the additional space in our shop and reception area.
This picture has kindly been donated to Atlantic Coast by Tony and Michelle Davies who are due to become our latest new owners to the Park. Their Victory Torino Caravan is due to arrive at the beginning of April and we are looking forward to seeing Michelle and Tony throughout the year with their son Brett.
