The sight of white sail tips cresting the horizon of Falmouth Bay will herald a landmark moment in history when Falmouth, Cornwall and Royal Greenwich, London will together host one of the biggest international sailing events in solely English waters.
Over 35 Tall Ships from around the world will arrive in Falmouth for three days of festivities from 28th to 30th August before the race start on the 31st. The whole town will be involved in a packed programme of shore side activities and events.
On Sunday 31st August, the Tall Ships will pass between Henry VIII’s twin Tudor castles of Pendennis and St Mawes in a magnificent Parade of Sail to the start line in Falmouth Bay.
