Easter 2016 at Atlantic Coast

May 9, 2016 Atlantic Coast Holiday Park

A sunny start to the Easter holidays gave us a good opportunity to give the front of reception and outside a clean. New plants have been added to the entrance wall by our landscape gardener Adrian. New planted Grisellenia is now established and growing healthily, offering a more natural environment to the Park. Adrian has also been recycling old wood to use for building the raised bed for our Bee and Butterfly friendly project. Watch this space..............

Our new reception area is now fully stocked with information, leaflets, maps and magazines offering lots of ideas for activities, events and interesting places to visit whilst on holiday with us. DVD's are available to rent with donations going to supporting our chosen local charity Children's Hospice South West. We have a small selection of postcards and greeting cards on sale and newspapers can be ordered in on request.
A surprise visit from this friendly dog from a local farm proved exciting. He had decided to explore the park and took a shining to our sunny patio. His frantic owner soon came along and took him back to the farm, no doubt we may see him again???
This amazing photo of a Bullfinch was captured by one of our guests staying in one of our Platinum caravans. The enclosed area in front of the caravan is a haven for the wildlife, the singing from the birds is beautiful and they love the peanuts and bird food kindly left by our guests.
