Goodbye 2017 Season

Bye Bye 2017

So the 2017 holiday season is almost over!! 😲 It's been an absolutely brilliant season and we have loved every minute of it. We hope everyone who has stayed with us this year has also enjoyed themselves as much as we have and we would like to thank you all for your custom.

We have had some excellent feedback about our newly refurbished Galleon Bar, and we hope this will just keep getting better & better.

If you have enjoyed your stay here and would like to come again, or if you have never stayed here before and are thinking about it then we are now taking bookings for 2018.

For touring caravans we have grass pitches with electric hook up from as little as £21 per night based on 2 people, and for motorhomes / campervans there are also some hard standing pitches available from £21.

If you fancy a pitch with a stunning view then our sea view pitches start from as little as £22 per night for 2 people, also with electric hook up included in the price. These sea view pitches do sell out very quickly and advanced booking is highly recommended, especially for bank holidays and the 6 weeks of the Summer holidays. Please note that for bank holiday weekends we only take a minimum of 3 night bookings.

Don't worry if you don't have your own caravan / motorhome as we have our own static caravans that we hire out. During the main 6 week Summer holiday you can hire a caravan for weekly breaks which run from Saturday to Saturday, and during the rest of the season we also do short breaks which can either be Monday to Friday or Friday to Monday. Please ring us for a quote or check out our web site for further details.

We have a selection of caravans to suit everyone. We have Pet friendly caravans so you can bring your furry friends with you, Gold rated caravans with all your mod cons, and Platinum rated caravans for that extra bit of added luxury. We also have a disabled access caravan which has more space for wheelchair or pushchair access. It also has a ramp leading up to the door instead of steps.

Whitby has events going on for most of the year from Steam Punk and Goth Weekends, to Whitby's famous regatta, music events including 60's  and Soul and many more. These are just a few of the dates we already know of but keep an eye on our face book page for updates on future events...

  • Easter Weekend - 30th March - 2nd April
  • Goth Weekend - 27th - 30th April

  • White Lily Ball - 1st June
  • 60's Music Festival - 8th - 10th June
  • Soul Weekend - 6th - 8th July
  • Steam Punk weekend -  27th - 29th July
  • Traction Engine Rally - 3rd - 5th August
  • Whitby Regatta - 11th - 13th August
  • Whitby Folk Week - 18th - 24th August

  • Northern Soul Weekend - 6th - 8th September
  • Motown Soul Weekend - 14th - 15th September
  • Pickering 1940's Wartime weekend - 12th - 14th October
  • Blues, Rhythm & Rock Festival - 13th October
  • Musicport Music Festival - 19th - 21st October

As well as all the events listed above there are also numerous shows on throughout the year plus some events that we don't have the dates for just yet.

If you want to come to Whitby to experience any of the events on offer then we are the perfect location for your holiday. On the park we have our Galleon Bar, a cafe serving home cooked meals, a shop and a launderette. For our touring customers we also have very clean, well maintained toilet & shower block with hair dryers installed which are free to use.

If you prefer to come to Whitby at quieter times when there are no events taking place then don't worry as the Galleon Bar is open for the entire season so you can just enjoy a quiet drink with your family and friends. Even your little furry friends can come in too as there is a designated dog area within the bar. We do have live acts on at weekends throughout the 6 week Summer break and there are usually games of bingo, pig racing and other fun activities for you to join in with.

One of the best things about Whitby are the beaches. We have our very own beach directly off the park. This is a fantastic beach for fossil hunting and you can also take your dogs onto it all year round.  Whitby beach is a lovely sight with all the colourful beach huts and the pier arms stretching out to sea. You can walk along the whole length of the beach from Saltwick Bay to Sandsend providing the tide is out. Please make sure you check the tide times before you do walk the length of the beach though because the tide does come right in and can cut you off.

Whatever Whitby means to you, whether it's your hundredth visit or even your first, staying with us is an excellent base. Because we are on the Cleveland Way footpath it means there is easy walking access to both Whitby and Robin Hood's Bay straight off the park.

If you're not that into walking then we are only a very short drive out of Whitby town centre and all the taxi firms know us well so you will never have to worry about them not turning up as they are all very reliable. You could also drive into Whitby from us as there are several car parks available throughout the town. If you head into town for an evening meal then the council car parks are free after 6pm all year round.

So if you want to book your next break away in wonderful Whitby then you can ring us now on:
