There's something strange going on around North Wales this October half term with ghosts and ghouls awaiting your arrival!! 

You will find something spooky for little ones, medium ones and of course the big kids too...so hold on and be aware as you never know who or what is waiting around the corner.... BOO!



Here is a short list of Spook-tacular events... that is of course if you dare...

Halloween Hog Roast

Penrhyn Castle- National Trust
19th October- 3rd November
11:00-16:00
Halloween: The Ghosts of Penryn Castle. 
Feeling brave? Then visit Penryn Castle to find out more about the ghosts that roam the corridors and haunt the grounds. Follow the silhouette trail to find out more about "Calan Gaeaf" but be sure to listen out for those creaking floorboards and look out for those mysterious shapes in the shadows!




Bala Lake Railway
26th and 31st October 
Trains depart at 5.15 pm and 6:30 pm
Halloween Trains
Dare you ride the ghostly train to the witches coven?  Will your train make it through to the end of the line, or will one of the ghosts or spectres force it to turn back? There's only one way to find out, join the Bala Lake Railway for an evening of ghoulish fun. This event is only mildly scary and is suitable for the whole family. Trains run from LLanwchllyn to Glan Llyn.

Ffear Fforest
One of North Wales's scariest halloween events that is only for the brave. The Ffear Fforest pass includes 2 rides on the cursed coaster. Watch out as there something scary waiting for you at every corner!!  You will also get entry to the nets where you can bounce your way through the netted jungle but beware as you never know what you will bump into... will you survive the creepy clowns?? Ffear Fforest is suitable for children aged 9 and upwards and booking is recommended.
